Following on from Batman and Superman, this film will see these two Superhero’s go head to head and start a war among each other. This showdown will be the latest instalment of the relationship between these two great Superhero’s, that has been around for many decades. Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane to recap the history.
The first official meeting between Batman and Superman was not until 1952, in the Superman comic no. 76. The two were on a cruise ship and found themselves sharing a cabin, due to a double booking mishap. It was here where the ever lasting relationship between the two began.
However, in the new era of Superhero’s, relationship between the two took a turn as they became suspicious of each other’s motives. Their “first” meeting with this outlook on each other took place in 1986’s Man of Steel No. 3. Here the two considered each other as being critical of one another’s methods. This film left each other pondering at the thought whether they could be friends.
Ever since, the roller coaster rides of the relationship between the Superhero’s have caught the attention of many fans. They have been seen fighting against each other, become friends again, team up together, and even had their relationship blossom into a bromance and then fall apart. With such unpredictability, there’s no way of saying what fans can expect in this next sequel. One thing fan can expect, is for an action packed film not to be missed.
The war between Super Hero’s Batman and Superman will be hitting a big screen near you on March 25th, 2016. This film stars Henry Cavil taking on the role of Clark Kent (Superman) and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (Batman). Fellow cast members include Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Women), Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), along with Amy Adams, Laurance Fishburne, and Diana Lane.
So the one vital question remains to be answered; are Batman and Superman friends, partners, or rivals?
